Prior to his career in the financial services industry, Josh served as an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church in South Carolina. Growing up as the son of an itinerant minister and then serving as one, he cultivated a deep love of developing and deepening relationships with people of all walks of life. Several years ago, he felt God nudging him into the financial services realm as a new way of ministering, recognizing that maximizing our resources is one of the best ways we can be in a position to help one another and reduce stress in our lives. Josh holds degrees from Wofford College and Duke University. He also hold SIE, 6, and 63 licenses.
When he is not actively helping people make wise investment decisions or teaching a Financial Peace University course, Josh enjoys riding his motorcycle, working on cars (making them go way too fast), and playing video games.
Josh and his wife, Alli, live in Greer with their son, Ben, and beagle, Bernie. Alli is a criminal defense attorney in Greenville, spending most of her time helping those whom the rest of the world has written off as lost causes. Ben is a rising 3k preschooler and loves building Legos and chasing the dog around the house.
